What is a Subject Access Request?
You have the right to a copy of any personal information we hold about you. This is known as a “Subject Access Request (SAR)”. We do not charge any fees for sending you copies of your data.
Is a SAR the only way to access my information?
No, you don’t always need to submit a SAR. There may be other ways to access the information you need, for example:
Annual mortgage statements
To request your annual mortgage statements, then please contact our Customer Care team.
Bereavement information
If you’re looking for information or support in relation to a deceased customer, then please contact our Customer Care team.
Specific account information or copies of documents
You can find out things like your mortgage balance, your interest rate, and request copies of all correspondence we have sent to you by contacting our Customer Care team.
Want to submit a SAR?
When you request a SAR, we will ask you to tell us exactly what information you need, and if possible, the date range for the information you’re looking for.

• The contact information we hold on file for you
• Copies of documents we have used to identify you
• Application forms
• Details of Complaints you have made or Customer Service notes
• Correspondence that we have sent to you
• Telephone call recordings

What happens next?
We will aim to respond to your request within 1 calendar month from the date we receive it. We may need to contact you for further information during the process.
Sometimes it might take us a little longer to gather all the information you need and could take us up to 3 months. If this is the case, we will contact you to let you know and keep you updated along the way.
